Another stacked fight card awaits fight fans as Benguet Province partnering with Team Lakay, unleashes the fourth installment of Adivay Explosion, as part of the monthlong founding anniversary of Benguet Province on November 29 at the Benguet Sports Complex Gym. A mix of international and local fighters top bill the martial arts event backed by Cong. Eric Go Yap, who also serve as Team Lakay’s manager.
Headlining Adivay Explosion IV is an amateur MMA clash between Joris “Ace” Jonker and Sheraz “The Hooligan” Hussain. Both fighters will be looking to cement their reputation in what promises to be an explosive showdown of striking and grappling skills. In the co-main event, Argentinian standout Nahuel “El Roble” Gandolfi steps into the cage against Lolo “Super Lolo” Cruz in an amateur MMA battle that is guaranteed to deliver fireworks. Gandolfi, known for his relentless pressure, will face a tough test in Cruz, ensuring an intensely competitive matchup right before the headliner.
Amateur MMA bouts include Chad Mayos taking on Jan Michael Tabunot, Ezra Saclag against Deanhill Tindaan, Kurt Jio Sumilao squaring off against Brandon Albis, and Jed Sayud facing off Jason Hart Benwasen. Four kickboxing battles is also included in the fight card featuring Lilian Sumayao against Jessa Mea Attiw, Dale Marie Mayos versus Junabel Gaki, Nathaniel Alvarez taking on Carl Bentayen and the faceoff between Hyuma Sibaen and Froilan Saking.
Also supporting the event are KM Ngayon Na party list, Fairtex, Hiraya by Chief Yuma and Board Member Armando Lauro and family, which underscores Team Lakay commitment in nurturing grassroots martial arts talent in the region.
“The event is now on its fourth year and we hope that this will be an avenue para maka discover ng mga fighters, hindi lang dito sa Luzon Kundi buong Pilipinas,” said Team Lakay CEO and head coach Mark Sangiao in an earlier interview. ###
