Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw vs. Fabricio Andrade: Showdown of two Rising Bantamweight Stars!

The hype continues as two rising legends are against each other this February 25, 2022. We are all excited as to what will be the result of this match. Would Pacatiw defeat Andrade–who is currently the number 4 MMA fighter in the Bantamweight division?  If Pacatiw is able to snatch this win then he might just be on his way to becoming a future Bantamweight Champion.

During an interview with ONE: Full Circle by Andrew Whitelaw, both athletes have been asked a series of questions. Pacatiw is currently running on 14 wins, 4 losses while Andrade is on 6 wins and 2 losses. Both have their own strengths and weaknesses, they have their own assets to use as their trump card in their match but we can’t miss out on the other details as well.

Andrade thinks it’s not going to be a striking war with his opponent, it’s going to be more of a grappling fight with Pacatiw. In which Jeremy said that it’s all up to the actual match itself with a slight friendly laugh on his end

According to Andrade, he wasn’t surprised at all that Jeremy was his opponent nor he wasn’t fazed that he is facing someone who is coming for his rank. Andrade is thankful that Pacatiw accepted this fight between them saying,

For him to take this fight means that he’s a real fighter and he deserves the respect, you know?

When Pacatiw was asked to rank himself based on his opinion alone, he humbly answered that there was no way to tell since there were a lot of skilled athletes as well.

My brothers in Team Lakay helped me a lot so that we’re going to win the fight and hopefully be in the top five.

Pacatiw answered upon being asked about getting help with their strategy against his opponent.

Fabricio was then asked about Pacatiw’s previous statement that he’s going to win first, he responded with, “I think it’s good for him that he thinks like that but it’s my moment right now. Everybody knows it’s Wonder Boy’s time and I’m going to be champion first.”

It was also asked if Pacatiw feels like the underdog in this match since Andrade is in fact ranked 4th in their division. “It’s okay for me to be an underdog, the important thing is that I’m gonna win this fight” he answered proudly.

Pacatiw mentioned he doesn’t know if Andrade is underestimating him, all he knows is that anything can happen, on the other hand, Fabricio told the interviewer,

You never underestimate any fighters, everybody has their own potential, everybody has their chance to finish a fight. So for me, I never underestimate any of my opponents. I always train hard, it doesn’t matter who I’m going to face. I’m ready to face anybody…

This is one of the toughest fights in my career because Fabricio is coming on a winning streak and also is a complete fighter. If I had the opportunity to get the win on Friday, it’s a life-changing career.

Pacatiw answered when he was asked if this match was going to be one of the toughest so far.

Pacatiw proudly said that his teammates Stephen and Kevin are the best in the division right now meanwhile Andrade answered with, “I am the best right now”.

Both of them agree that skillset, and hard work are two of the defining things that matter during a fight inside the circle. They both acknowledge each other’s strengths and respect each other as fellow fighters. There’s no doubt that this is going to be another banger, catch their upcoming fight this Friday, February 25, 2022.
